I really want to help but I cannot understand why it is easier to roll out a whole new software program to 3000 seats rather than just updating the license for the software you already have to make the necessary fix?Ħ. While we hate to lose you as a customer, you could get the new license and make the fix. You say "If there is no solution I won't be renewing my 3000 seat license.". Is there a reason why you cannot easily deploy the fixed version? If we could fix the Academic version, you would need to roll that out to your 3000 users, right? So, in effect, rolling out the version with the fix in it IS the fix.ĥ. You say: "Installing another version is not a solution to the original problem here." Again, I know this is annoying, but we cannot fix something that has been done away with.Ĥ. You can work with our customer support team to get the correct licensing and the problem will be fixed. The fix would be to install another version that we now call multi-user.
Which version are your users on and how long has this been an issue for you? Is it just recently that this started?Ģ. So, we cannot "fix" this version for you since that version no longer exists. We do not produce "Academic versions" anymore and we have not done so for quite some time. I am not clear what you learned from Technical Support, but as far as I know:ġ.
